02 / Website, web app or mobile app?
Work out what you actually need first.
Choose a website when…
You mainly need to be found, explain your services and receive enquiries. Visitors read, then contact you. Nothing is stored or processed after that. This is the cheapest and fastest option — see website development and deployment.
Choose a web application when…
People need to log in and work with data: a customer portal, a booking system, an internal dashboard, an ordering tool. It runs in a browser on any device, needs no installation and can be updated instantly for everyone.
Choose a mobile app when…
You need something on a phone home screen that works with the camera, GPS, offline storage or push notifications — or your users are field staff, delivery riders or repeat customers who open it every day.

03 / Problems this can address
The business problems an application usually solves.
- Manual data entry. The same information is typed into WhatsApp, a spreadsheet and an invoice. An app captures it once.
- No single source of truth. Staff work from different copies of the same file and nobody knows which is current.
- Customers cannot self-serve. Every booking, status check or reorder needs a phone call to your team.
- Work cannot be tracked. You cannot see how many jobs are open, who owns them or what is overdue.
- Payments are chased by hand. Invoices, receipts and reminders are sent individually.
- Field staff have no tool. People working outside the office record work on paper and re-enter it later.
Not every problem needs custom software. Some are solved more cheaply with workflow automation or an admin dashboard added to an existing website.
04 / How it works
A simple explanation of how an app gets built.
Every application has three parts, and the fixed quote covers all three.
1. The screens people see (front end)
The forms, lists, buttons and dashboards. For mobile apps, Netqorix normally uses cross-platform technology (React Native or Flutter), which means one codebase produces both the Android and iOS app. This is faster and cheaper than writing two separate apps.
2. The engine behind it (back end)
The part that stores your data, checks who is allowed to see what, sends notifications and talks to payment gateways or other systems. This is where most of the real engineering effort sits.
3. Where it runs (hosting and deployment)
The servers, database and security configuration. This is set up on a cloud provider and handed over to you. See cloud services and infrastructure for how that is managed.
If you need a separate, fully native Android app written in Kotlin and a separate iOS app written in Swift — usually for heavy graphics, deep device features or strict platform requirements — that is quoted as a premium over the cross-platform base.
05 / Options and rates
Three build tiers, plus native and store deployment.
Which tier applies depends on the number of screens, how many user roles exist, whether money moves through the app, and how many outside systems it must talk to. The tier is agreed with you in writing before work starts.

07 / What this looks like in practice
Three situations, described as hypotheticals.
The following are illustrative scenarios written to explain how scope affects tier and price. They are not Netqorix client projects. Verified Netqorix projects are published on the work page.
A tuition centre wants parents to see attendance and fee status. Parents log in, see their child's attendance and outstanding fees, and pay online. Staff mark attendance from a tablet. That is a small number of screens with one payment integration — typically a Simple App, moving into Mid-Complexity once automated fee reminders and multiple branches are added.
An equipment rental business wants to stop losing track of stock. Customers request equipment, staff approve, and each item is tracked from dispatch to return with photos and condition notes. This needs user roles, real-time status, notifications and a management dashboard — typically Mid-Complexity.
A logistics operator wants drivers to update deliveries from the road. Drivers need offline capture, GPS, camera proof of delivery and sync when signal returns, with a control room dashboard and integration into an existing ERP. Multiple integrations and high concurrency push this to the Complex / Enterprise tier.

How an app project runs from brief to release.
Share your brief
Describe what the app must do, who uses it, and which systems it must connect to. Screenshots of your current spreadsheets or process are genuinely useful here.
Scope and fixed quote
Sanjeev separates what must be in the first release from what can follow later, confirms the tier, and issues a fixed quote with the deliverables, exclusions and payment milestones written down.
Design and build
Screens and flows are agreed first, then the back end and front end are built. You review working builds as agreed rather than waiting until the end.
Test and release
The app is tested against the approved scope. Web applications are deployed to production. Mobile apps are submitted to the App Store and Play Store when store deployment is in your quote.
Handover
The agreed source code, credentials and accounts are handed over after final settlement. Optional maintenance can begin from this point.
09 / Pricing, billing and running costs
What you pay once, and what keeps costing money.
One-time project cost
The build itself is billed per project at the tier rate above, 50% to start and 50% on delivery. If the scope changes mid-project, the change is quoted and approved separately before it is built.
Recurring costs you should budget for
An application is not a one-time purchase. Plan for hosting and database charges, the Apple Developer Program and Google Play developer account fees, SMS, email or push notification charges, payment gateway transaction fees, and any paid APIs the app depends on. These are billed by those providers, and the amounts depend on your usage.
Keeping the app working after launch
Operating systems, app stores and third-party APIs change. Without maintenance, apps eventually break or get removed from stores. Maintenance is optional and priced separately — see maintenance and support for annual maintenance and monthly retainer rates.

Do I need a mobile app or is a website enough?
If visitors mainly need to find you, understand your services and contact you, a website is enough and costs far less. An app is worth it when people log in repeatedly, work with data, or need phone features such as camera, GPS, offline use or push notifications. Send your requirement and you will get a direct answer, including when the answer is that you do not need an app.
What is the difference between a web app and a mobile app?
A web application runs in a browser on any device, needs no installation and updates instantly for everyone. A mobile app is installed from the App Store or Play Store, sits on the home screen and can use camera, GPS, offline storage and push notifications. Many businesses run both: a web app for staff and a mobile app for customers or field teams.
Will one app work on both Android and iPhone?
Yes. Netqorix normally builds with cross-platform technology such as React Native or Flutter, which produces both the Android and iOS app from a single codebase. Separate fully native Android and iOS builds are available and quoted at 1.5× to 2× the base tier.
Are the Apple and Google developer fees included?
No. The Apple Developer Program and Google Play developer account are registered in your business name and paid by you directly to Apple and Google. The App Store Deployment item covers the setup, listing graphics, submission and review handling, not the platform fees themselves.
Who owns the app and the source code?
You own the approved source code and intellectual property after final settlement. The store accounts are registered in your name. You can maintain the app yourself, move to another provider, or discuss optional support with Netqorix.
Can Apple or Google reject my app?
Yes. Both stores review submissions against their own guidelines and can ask for changes. Netqorix handles the submission and the review responses when store deployment is in your quote, but no provider can guarantee approval or control how long the review takes.
Can you add features later?
Yes. New features after handover are quoted as separate work, or covered by the hours in a monthly retainer if you have one. Maintenance keeps the existing app working; new features are a different thing, and they are priced separately so nothing is hidden.
